"The White Tiger" is the winner of the "Man Booker Prize in 2008".
This book mostly talks about cast and class contrast in India ,and writer have a very good grip on this topic.... he takes his readers full circle, from poorest of poor to straight to the top end of the society while weaving his story like an artist.
Arvind Adiga's description of the social ladder and layers and layers of a systematic discrimination where big fish eats small fish, is excellent.
It may be a book only about India , at times it does remind us of similar issues and flaws in Pakistani society too.
A very good read keeps reader curious till end.
Here we plan to talk about books written in Pakistan, By a Pakistani writer or about publications which represent Pakistani perspective . You can find reviews of books in Urdu or English both... We will talk about it all... from reading and writing to publishing...and from new ideas to changing culture of books in Pakistan.
