Recurrent Patterns in Punjabi Poetry....by Najam Hussain Sayed

This book is by Najam Hussain Sayed,a devotee for Punjabi language and culture. It seems writer observed punjabi poetry in depth... including great poetry of Farid, to Waris Shah, Saif ul maluk and all.
you will find roots of the repeated characters with his knowledge and study of the Punjabi culture, at that time... there is some precious information for an average fan of Punjabi poetry who is not aware enough of the history of Punjabi Poetry.
Some of the articles were published in daily Pakistan Times,in 1950s and 1960s.

First time published in book form was in 1968, by Majlis Shah Hussain Lahore, and later published by Punjab Adabi Markaz.
Current edition is published by City press Karachi in 2003.
